  A NIGHTMARE of an operation!!! The unprofessionalism that came from my experience with Port Augusta Collision had myself, my family and my insurance provider absolutely gobsmacked!
  
  Jeff (who I assume is the manager and or owner) is one of the rudest individuals I have ever come into contact with. I have never written a negative review about a business before but I feel compelled to in this situation because I don’t want anyone to go through the nightmare experience I just went through.
  
  Long story short.
  They had my vehicle for 12-days before they even sent their assessment to the insurance provider (note - it was for a pretty minor job, broken headlight etc).
  They had my vehicle for over a month before they commenced work on it.
  My vehicle was ready for collection 15-days after they initially told me the work would be completed.
  When I questioned the numerous delays (there were 3 major delays) they were rude, unapologetic and sarcastic, I was told “your car might be fix on Wednesday, or Friday or next January… I don’t really know!”
  When I questioned Jeff over the second major delay he tried to blame my insurance provider so I followed up with my insurance company and they informed me they didn’t receive his quote for the job until three days before he told me I would have my vehicle back which was clearly never going to happen.
  
  It was exhausting dealing with a ill-tempered, sarcastic, unprofessional and all round just a bad bloke like Jeff.
  
  Thus I really strongly advise you to take your vehicle ANYWHERE but Port Augusta Collision!
  
  I would give zero stars if I could!

  I cannot recommend the team at Port Augusta Collision repair enough!
  
  A big thanks & appreciation for Geoff and his Team.
  
  My family and I unfortunately ran into some bad luck after hitting an animal north of Cooper Pedy in early November. We were passed onto Port Augusta Collision repairs, and it was then when our luck turned around.
  As soon as i met Geoff, I begun to trust the process - he is a great communicator as he worked through each part of the process with me - to help make smart decisions, which ultimately ensured the car was repaired quickly and the experience was a positive one.
  
  My family and I could have been stranded - but Geoff and his team worked hard to find solutions.
  
  We are now back on the road - our car looking as good as new - but more importantly my family and I looking back on the experience with smiles, because of how well we were looked after.
  
  If you are looking for quality workmanship, a thorough approach and 5 star customer service - choose these guys!
  
  Well done and big thanks Geoff and Team.

  I mangled badly a mirror on my BMW while reversing. Being in a remote mining town, this shop was the closest. The assessment was done on-line, which spared me from a long trip. Yet, I was anxious whether they could fix BMW, with all the electronics involved. Actually, I left the car at 8 am in the morning with them, and it was finished by 2 pm. So far, all well. Waiting for parts was a bit frustrating, but with BMW it happens in the capital cities too.

  Would definitely not recommend port Augusta collision. I had my 2 year mazda cx5 repaired by geoff, what a nightmare. They used secondhand defected parts and a aftermarket windscreen causing problems with the cameras and just painted over paint chips without repairing first and on top of this caused dents and further damage to my vehicle. My insurance company accersor could not believe how poor the repair was. I had to send the car to Adelaide to a great collision centre they replaced all secondhand part, repaired damage caused and had to respray the entire car excluding tailgate and rear bumper. I would recommend to NEVER take you vehicle to this business. Smith motor group should look into their business as it's Not up to industry standard.

  Took my car for 28 days for a repair and when i drive my car out of their workshop engine got seized and they blamed me for that.
